It’s been awhile since I’ve written about the EPA on here but rest assured it has nothing to do with them miraculously making improvements over at the most corrupt agency in the Obama Administration.  The 2016 election has moved other issues to the back burner but make no mistake, the EPA is still absolutely out of control.

You are probably familiar with the awful situation in Flint, Michigan where the residents of that ravaged town were drinking poisoned water thanks to their incompetent local government.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the EPA showed up to make things a lot worse.

Michael Bastasch has more…

From The Daily Caller:

EPA had the legal authority to intervene in the Flint, Mich., water crisis months before it actually did, according to a report by the agency’s inspector general.

EPA IG Arthur Elkins said, “the EPA’s Region 5 had the authority and sufficient information to issue an emergency order to protect Flint residents from lead-contaminated water” under the Safe Drinking Water Act as early as June 2015.

“However, we found that EPA’s Region 5 did not issue an emergency order because the region saw the state’s actions as a jurisdictional bar,” Elkins said in a podcast, summarizing his investigation into EPA’s handling of the Flint water crisis. “In other words, people at the federal agency believed they were unable to do anything because the state was already taking action.”

From ABC News:

The Environmental Protection Agency had the power and enough information to issue an emergency order to protect the people of Flint, Mich. from lead-contaminated water as early as 7 months before they did, the EPA’s inspector general said Thursday.

“Federal law provides the EPA with emergency authority to intervene when the safety of drinking water is compromised,” said EPA Inspector General Arthur A. Elkins. “Employees must be knowledgeable, trained and ready to act when such a public health threat looms.”

Flint’s drinking water was contaminated after the city switched its supply in April 2014, exposing many of the city’s nearly 100,000 residents to elevated lead levels in the water.

Flint has been in Democrat control since forever and the people who were supposed to be providing oversight, the EPA, completely failed.

This is par for the course for the EPA as you well know and you have to wonder how much longer the American people are going to stand by and let this kind of thing slide.

People drank poisoned water for 7 months while the EPA knew about it and screwed around.  If that doesn’t outrage you I’m not sure anything can.

Also, while I have you, check out this fun quote from the head of the EPA this week.  Looks like she isn’t even going to speak to people that don’t believe her insane narrative on climate change.

From The Daily Caller:

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy said she’s done talking to “climate deniers” who don’t think human activities are causing global warming.

“If they haven’t figured out by now, what in God’s name could anyone say to them?” McCarthy said in a Facebook Live interview with Mashable Tuesday.

“I don’t check out flat Earth society and I’m not talking to climate deniers,” she said. “That’s it. Sorry, I know I’m supposed to be for everybody, but my patience has worn thin over eight years.”

Is this really the best we can do?
