Ted Cruz has been surging in the polls lately and is even topping Donald Trump in Iowa according to a recent Monmouth University poll.
When it comes to conservative credentials, it is hard to argue with Ted’s record and a big reason he is making a strong push for the nomination is his willingness to say what needs to be said regardless of how uncomfortable it makes the media. This is a trait that has been well received by the Republican electorate thus far, perhaps to a degree we have never seen before.
The Texas senator sat down with Greg Abbott, the governor of the Lone Star State, and the two of them put on a press conference regarding the Syrian refugee crisis that while lengthy, is definitely worth a glance.
Ted Cruz is absolutely right to illuminate the hypocrisy of a president who refers to label the Islamic State as Islamic.
“That’s just nutty,” Cruz said.
Common sense measures at the state level appear to be the only way to push back against an Administration that is completely willing to overlook the safety of the American people in favor of political correctness.
Cruz seems to be surging at just the right time as we are now less than 2 months away from the Iowa caucus.
