It’s no secret that Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is in trouble.

The 2016 race thus far has been dominated by political outsiders.  Donald Trump, Carly Fiorina, and Ben Carson are all leading the pack on the Republican side due to deep seeded antipathy toward the politicians in Washington from both parties.

Bernie Sanders, although not an actual outsider, has managed to convince the remarkably gullible millennial crowd that he hasn’t been casting votes in Washington for 25 years.  That successful manipulation has helped him challenge Hillary’s front runner status.

Hillary on the other hand represents everything that is bad about Washington and politics in general.  One of the main reasons for that is her extensive record of flip flopping on issues.

Her biggest political shift? Gay marriage.

From The Washington Free Beacon:

Bill Clinton confessed to a close friend that Hillary Clinton was not comfortable “around gay people who were kind of acting out” during her 2000 Senate race, according to audio recordings obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Clinton worried that his wife’s “general discomfort” with gay rights issues could complicate her senate bid in New York at the time, according to a contemporaneous account from Clinton’s long-time friend Taylor Branch.

Don’t forget, Hillary Clinton strongly opposed gay marriage for a over decade.  It wasn’t until she decided to run for president the first time that she began to back track into her current position of fully supporting it.

This report takes things a step further.

Not only did Hillary flip flop on the issue, something Democrats surely will forgive her for, it appears that she harbored some animosity toward the gay community and it was important enough for Bill Clinton to talk about with his friends.

The party that allegedly represents and fights for all the needs of the gay community, is putting forward a candidate that was uncomfortable around gay people.

Even if voters can get past Hillary’s failed record as Secretary of State, stale personality, and dubious email practices, they still have to deal with the fact that she has held diametrically opposed positions on key issues that her party is pretending to care about.  And according to this audio tape, she doesn’t seem to like gay people too much either.
