Muslim Mayor Of London On NYC Bombings: Get Over It!

Britain has a serious problem with radical Islam.  In fact, a quarter of British Muslims wish that they could be ruled by Sharia Law.  If you aren’t sure what that is, you can look it up or just take my word for it that it’s really bad for women, gays, and non-Muslims.  That’s not all, two thirds of Muslims in Britain say they wouldn’t tell the police if they knew about a terror plot.  Lovely.

So when London made the decision to elect a Muslim mayor with ties to radical Islam, I was obviously a little concerned.

Well, since taking office, Sadiq Khan has done some really fun things like make women stand in the back at one of his rallies and prevent city buses from advertising with provocatively dressed women.

Kind of a red flag…

In New York City over the weekend, a radical Islamist tried to kill people with bombs in Chelsea.  No one died thank God, but 29 people were hurt.

What did the “not a terrorist sympathizer” mayor of London have to say about it?

Get over it.

Here is Justin Holcomb with more…

From Townhall:

Sadiq Khan, London’s first Muslim mayor, has never hesitated when it comes to lecturing Americans about how they are mishandling terrorism.   At an event in New York City called “Building Progressive, Inclusive Cities,” Khan told New Yorkers that they should simply get used to Islamic terror.

Terror attacks are “part and parcel of life in a big city,” Khan told the Evening Standard just hours after multiple terror attacks in New Jersey and New York.  He mimics words that come from most of the European Union’s leaders. After multiple terror attacks in France, the French Prime Minister told his subjects that they “will have to live with terrorism.”

Get over it New Yorkers! That’s just part of the deal when you live in New York.  Every once in awhile a radical jihadist is going to try and murder you while you walk down the street.

It might be time to just admit that this guy might have a soft spot in his heart for radical Islam.

Colin Kaepernick’s Anthem Stunt Exposed Several Uncomfortable Truths About The Left

If you think you’re tired of the Colin Kaepernick story, just imagine how it feels to have to write about it all day long for three days.  The guy is a clown and his selfish actions will probably cost him his job.  That should be the end of it.  But, as you can tell, the story is still going strong.

There is no debate among rational people as to whether or not he should have done what he did.  Of course he shouldn’t have.  It was selfish, cowardly, and disrespectful.  It hurt his team.  It hurt the league.  And it failed to prove any coherent point.  However, Kaepernick has helped illuminate some extremely troubling realities with today’s liberal left.

It isn’t surprising that a lot of Americans out there are supportive of Kaepernick’s decision to put his personal politics before the country.  There are plenty of kooks out there.  It was pretty surprising however to see how far the liberal left was willing to take their adoration of the former star quarterback.

Liberals have become completely unhinged over the situation and you can literally feel the excitement when you read articles from these far left sites.  They are basically salivating at the prospect of knocking racist America down a few pegs.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the legendary NBA center, perhaps summed it up best when he called Kaepernick’s actions “patriotic”.

Only someone completely brainwashed by the backwards liberal worldview could possibly cloud the definition of the word patriotic to the point where it could be used to describe refusing to do the most patriotic thing ever.

But that’s how liberals work.  Sticking it to America is always the right answer. Disrespecting the anthem is good. Standing for it is bad.  The world that liberals live in is almost the exact definition of Bizarro World.

You may have also noticed that the left has been trying to make the completely nonsensical argument that the national anthem itself is racist.  That’s right, the most racist people on the planet are now trying to make the argument that everyone who recites the national anthem is actually doing something bad.

Here’s what Shaun King, the white BLM activist who has been lying about his race for a couple years now, had to say about that.

From Conservative Review:

And then there was Shaun King. On Monday, the controversial Black Lives Matter activist and New York Daily News columnist penned a piece explaining “why I’ll never stand again for the ‘Star-Spangled Banner'”: While it has always been known that the song was written during American slavery and that when those words about this nation being the “land of the free” didn’t apply to the millions who had been held in bondage, few of us had any idea that the song itself was rooted in the celebration of slavery and the murder of Africans in America, who were being hired by the British military to give them strength not only in the War of 1812, but in the Battle of Fort McHenry of 1814. These black men were called the Corps of Colonial Marines and they served valiantly for the British military. Key despised them. He was glad to see them experience terror and death in war — to the point that he wrote a poem about it. That poem is now our national anthem.

Isn’t he great?

His logic is that Colin Kaepernick did a good thing by disrespecting all the people who have died for this country and making himself the center of attention because our national anthem is actually some kind of KKK theme song.

Only problem is.  He’s wrong about the origin of the song.

Again from Conservative Review:

There’s just one problem: These lyrics are describing slaves, who were, as King conveniently points out, hired by the British. This song is not about killing black slaves. It’s about fighting the enemy, be he a decorated British officer or the escaped slave hired to do his dirty work.

Shaun King and his allies might be surprised to learn that Francis Scott Key, a DC lawyer, was initially against the United States’ entry into the War of 1812.

According to, “Key referred to the war as ‘abominable’ and ‘a lump of wickedness.’ However, his opposition to the war softened after the British began to raid nearby Chesapeake Bay communities in 1813 and 1814, and he briefly served in a Georgetown wartime militia.”

OK, the liberal Left asks, then why do we no longer sing that stanza?

According to Encyclopedia Britannica, “The third stanza is customarily omitted out of courtesy to the British.” To the British — not slaves!

Why is that? Because any human being with a moral conscience knows that the enslavement and degradation of others is wrong. Slavery is an ethical stain on the American narrative, but Key, though he owned slaves, wasn’t writing in defense of slavery — he didn’t have to. Slavery was for the most part a given during early 19th-century America.

I’m not exactly shocked that liberals don’t quite have the historical facts straight, they almost never do, but it’s really shocking to watch people like Spike Lee come out and praise a guy simply for sitting down during the one time where people are asked to put the country before themselves.  Spike said that Colin Kaepernick is just like Jackie Robinson.  Sure, maybe, if this was 1972.  It’s 2016 Spike.

I mean seriously, how often do we ask people to take a moment out of their day to honor the flag? If you don’t go to sporting events, the answer is never.  If you go to sporting events, they ask for a couple minutes of your time.

These people really, really don’t like America.

Apparently in liberal land, if the country does something you don’t like, you sit down instead of stand for the anthem.  Sorry guys.  It doesn’t work that way.  Patriotism isn’t only for people who love everything about America.  It’s for Americans.  The people who died for this country didn’t die just for white people.  They died for all of us and the least you can do is put your phone down for a minute and mumble a couple words.

Even Colin Kaepernick has no idea what he’s talking about.  Check out the shirt he was seen wearing after he pulled his little stunt.

If you can’t tell, that’s Fidel Castro.

So let’s get this straight.

He won’t stand up for the national anthem because it represents “oppression”, but yet, he can walk around with a T-shirt on celebrating one of the most oppressive dictators ever who was responsible for the death of thousands of his own people. Brilliant.

It’s also fun watching people try to criticize Colin’s critics by making the argument that Colin has the “right” to protest.  Of course he does.  No one on the planet has made the argument that he doesn’t.  That’s completely irrelevant.  The fact is that he did it and deserves whatever criticism that comes from it.  People have the “right” to feel disrespected as well.  Including the many brave men and women who defend the flag every day.  The conversation has nothing to do with whether or not Colin has the “right” to sit down. This is America, everyone knows that if you think it’s cool to disrespect the flag you can do that.  The conversation is about whether or not it was a logical move, whether or not there should be push back, and whether or not it was disrespectful.  The answer to all those “ifs” is very clear.

There were a million different ways Colin Kaepernick could have brought attention to the issue of police brutality.  The guy is worth millions of dollars, heck, he could have started a foundation if he wanted to. He could have made a substantial donation to BLM.  But he didn’t do that.  He chose to sit down during the national anthem and make the story about him.  He chose to take a swipe at the identity of our country.  Why? Because he clearly harbors a deep sense of animosity and resentment towards it. That’s nothing to celebrate.

And just for fun, since we are already here, check out this video from Prager University explaining how Colin isn’t even correct about his original point.  I can guarantee you haven’t heard some of these statistics about police brutality.

Liberals Bashed McCain And Dole Over Their Health, Now Hillary Is Magically Off Limits

Hillary Clinton Speaks At Event At Center For American Progress

“McCain faces questions on age, health”.  That’s a CNN headline from October of 2008 when John McCain was running for President of the United States. The article goes on to talk about McCain’s previous bout with skin cancer and criticized McCain for not releasing more medical records thus making the obvious implication he was hiding something.  As you can probably guess, the media did the same thing to Bob Dole.

That was fair game for the liberal left.  But then, something miraculous happened.  Eight years later, when the roles were reversed, the left decided that wasn’t allowed anymore.  In 2016, if you dare mention Hillary Clinton’s health, you’re a sexist.  Yes, today it is completely off limits to even mention the coughing fits, stumbles, questionable health records, concussion, and age.   McCain was 71 when he ran.  Hillary is 68 now.

You aren’t even allowed to do it if you’re a liberal.  Andrea Mitchell and Chris Matthews brought it up and both got hammered for it by their rabid followers.

Dr. Drew Pinsky , a distinguished Pasadena, CA native and board certified physician, went through Hillary’s medical records and had some troubling things to say about them. You would think that he just accused Hillary of being an alien from outer space the way the liberals reacted. You can sort through Twitter on your own but trust me, it’s nasty.

What is going on with this world?  If you need more evidence that political correctness is taking over the planet look no further than the ridiculous cries of sexism that are being hurled around in this conversation.  Glamour actually posted a story with a headline that read, “Yes, It’s Sexist To Speculate About Hillary’s Health”.

I’m sorry, what?

Is that the world we live in now?  Where the media babies women so much and treats them with so much contempt that they won’t even allow them to be questioned about potentially serious health problems? We can’t even ask the question?  She could be perfectly fine, but when we start telling the media that they can’t even ask certain questions, then what’s the point of even having a free press?

What feminists don’t seem to understand is that they are actually hurting their cause by creating this narrative that men can be criticized for anything but women are too frail or are off limits for some reason.  How does that help women?  Hillary is running to be the leader of the free world.  She can handle herself.

“Oh, but would you say the same thing to a man?” Yes, in fact, liberals in the media HAVE done it at least twice in recent memory.  So you can put that elementary school argument to rest.

It should concern everyone when we see the liberal media complex start telling us what questions we are allowed to ask and what we aren’t.

These Two Images Show Just How Dishonest The Media Coverage Of DNC CEO Resignation Was

We talk a lot about media bias and it is clear to any fair minded observer that the mainstream media has an incredible amount of power.

Sometimes, talking about it isn’t enough.  Sometimes, visual examples are the most compelling.

Yesterday, it was announced that the CEO of the DNC was resigning due to the disastrous email leak that exposed some serious corruption in the establishment wing of the party.

That’s a huge deal.  DNC leadership is falling apart.  Can you imagine the press coverage if this was happening at the RNC?

Check out this snapshot from the MSNBC homepage that an awesome SGR follower (Thanks Pablo!) sent us.

I barely know how the internet works let alone how to figure out how to make this image larger but if you can’t tell, the top 10 stories there on the right don’t even mention the resignation.  It’s all stories about how Obama and Hillary are great, Trump sucks and Trump is a racist blah blah blah.

Not a word about the DNC turmoil.  Or anything else for that matter.  An entire page devoted to bashing Trump.  Even liberals have to admit that’s ridiculous. Right?

Politico managed to mention it, in microscopic fashion surrounded by a million articles bashing Trump.

I’m not complaining about how things aren’t fair.  Everyone knows that. The media is completely in the tank for the Democrats and they probably always will be.

But, it’s important for people to be aware of the propaganda they are being fed and understand how critical it is to research things for yourself.

At this point, if you are trusting places like Politico, CNN, or MSNBC (no hyperlink needed) to get information then you need to seriously reevaluate some things in your life.

New Poll Confirms Democrats On Wrong Side Of History In Abortion Debate

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times, Democrats are on the wrong side of history when it comes to abortion.

Anyone who pays attention to their heated rhetoric and unwavering support for dishonest organizations like Planned Parenthood is able to piece that together.

But there are still a lot of people out there that just refuse to believe that conservatives are more in line with how the country feels about abortion than Democrats.

This week, a poll was released that proves it.

From Daily Caller:

A new Marist poll of over 1,000 American adults (sampling all adults yields more liberal results than registered voters, and significantly more liberal than likely voters) finds that while 51 percent of Americans use the term “pro-choice” to describe their abortion views, that term is misleading, because 78 percent of Americans believe in substantial restrictions to abortion.

For example, Clinton and the DNC condemn Pence’s signing an Indiana law discontinuing taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood in the Hoosier State. But the poll shows that 62 percent of all Americans — including 44 percent of Democrats — support banning taxpayer dollars from being spent on abortion. (This law was one of the reasons Pence was praised last week in Cleveland by pro-life leaders.)

The majority of Americans don’t believe in taxpayer funds for abortion.

Yet, there Democrats are trying to overturn the Hyde Amendment and do just that.

8 in 10 Americans take abortion seriously enough to believe in some kind of restriction.

Democrats fight tooth and nail to make sure there are zero restrictions.

Clearly, the Democrats are wrong on this issue.

Nixon’s 1968 Convention Speech: A Message For 2016?

This afternoon, I watched Richard Nixon’s speech accepting the nomination for president at the 1968 Republican convention.  1968 was a crazy year.  One of the most fascinating classes I took in college was a class entirely devoted to the things that happened in 1968. Race relations were abysmal, the economy was stagnant, our position in the world was shaky, we were mired in an unpopular war, and crime was rapidly rising.  It was a year that isn’t very different from 2016.  Many of the issues that voters were thinking about then are similar to what people are thinking today.

It was an incredible speech from Nixon and it was impossible not to be reminded of Donald Trump at least a few times while watching it. There was something about this speech that really resonated today.  The mannerisms.  The talking points.  The vernacular.  You can make the argument it could have been delivered today.  Watch it for yourself.  It’s long, but you won’t regret it.

You can read the transcript here as well.  Can you tell I really want you to check this out?

The central themes of this speech: Law and order.  Opportunity for all Americans.  Regaining respect in the world.  Economic growth.  Fighting bloated bureaucracy.

Sure, you can make the argument that those things matter every election.  But the way in which Nixon talked about them is eerily similar to the language we hear today.  Including a couple references to the greatness of America that obviously ring a bell today.

As you know, Nixon went on to win that election.  A man from a poor family in Whittier, California who had his political career written off time after time, not unlike Trump, ended up uniting the country, winning the White House, and ending the war in Vietnam.

Say what you want about Watergate, but it looks as serious as stealing a pack of gum when you compare it to some of the shenanigans we see today.

We hear the comparisons between Trump and Reagan all the time and I don’t even really feel comfortable making a solid comparison between Trump and Nixon.  I mean, Nixon’s conservatism on its worst day is probably on the same level as Trump’s on its best.

But, watching this speech, it is impossible to ignore the way in which Nixon’s words resonated and not be reminded of how Trump’s have resonated in a very similar way over the past year or so.

You’ve heard it a million times.

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Geraldo EXPLODES on Obama Over Failure to Fight Terror

Fox News host Geraldo Rivera isn’t exactly known for sharp wit and policy positions agreeable to hardcore conservatives, but it seems the man finally said something that just about everyone on the right can agree with.

During a Fox and Friends segment, Rivera ripped into President Obama and his wimpy, pathetic fight against terrorism, totally exploding into a rant of epic proportions.

Yes, this might actually make you fist pump to Geraldo.

From BizPacReview:

“We are going to send more troops to Iraw, a total of 560,” Fox News’ Steve Doocy said Friday on “Fox & Friends.” “The United Kingdom is going to send 250. Is that going to help?”

“About time,” Geraldo said. “My goodness what is this gradualism? I don’t understand how the President of the United States can watch this unfold and still believe that his thesis, his approach to fighting the caliphate, is a little here, a little there, a little more bombing.

“Because you are proud of your policy and stubbornly insisting it will work does not mean you can’t, as an intelligent, patriotic person, say it has not worked, we must wipe out the caliphate,” he said.

“Where are the first cavalry, the 82nd airborne, the 101st airborne? Where are our magnificent troops to put an end to this?” he asked.

“We are at war with an ideology that is more than an ideology,” he said. “It is a geographic entity. We know where it is. I can show you on the map where it is.”

“It is time for the President of the United States to go beyond,” he said. “I don’t want him to console us now. I want him to be firm — I want him to announce and escalation, a major escalation, if not a declaration of war against ISIS — When ISIS cut the heads off those journalists and drowned that pilot it was time then, it’s time now!”

“I believe the first step is a military step,” he continued. “I don’t want to be calmed now. I want a military solution to what is essentially a military problem.”

It’s hard to believe these words are about to come out of my mouth, but I 100 percent agree with Geraldo Rivera.

Wow. I didn’t think I’d feel so dirty after uttering that sentence, but I feel like curling up in the fetal position in the shower and crying for the next hour.

Anyway, it truly is time to drop the political correctness junk and take legitimate military action to dismantle groups like ISIS in order to bring their worldwide reign of terror to an end.

Radical Islamists do not negotiate. The only language they speak fluently is blunt force, and I think it’s time we started learning that language ourselves so we can deliver them a nice little love letter in the form of a boot to the backside.
